On May 12th, we left Oasis Resort RV park in Las Vegas early in the morning and headed to Torrey, Utah. It was a long 360-mile drive though we enjoyed the scenic landscape all the way and arrived there safely.

This RV park is located only 2 miles from the Joshua tree national park entrance. There is a nice and clean swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym etc. If you are not an RVer, you can stay in a cottage as well! ($95 per night)
We are in Joshua Tree National Park now! Today we took the first day of a four day climbing class at Joshua Tress NP from instructor Erik of Vertical Adventures. He is a fine instructor – knowledgeable, detailed and a good coach.
Wawona campground is situated at the southern end of the park, about 27 miles and 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley. On Monday, 4/28/2014, We started our cross country road trip across the USA from Sherman Island, CA. We had met up with friends in Sherman Island the day before, went fishing, and landed a 150 lb. Sturgeon!
